I have been offrered the complete design of a 6 page web site for £500 and £100 a year to host it is this good or bad ,please explain in layman terms not PC literate
Normally it costs around 2.99 dollars per month plus domain name to host a site and you can host up to 20 sites on one hosting acct but this is doing it yourself. Bear in mind they are doing the lot so need to make a profit too so based on this I’d say it’s a good’ish price but you could get them to knock a bit off with some negotiation now your informed.
This tutorial introduces you to Visual Site Designer. When you first start the program, you’ll see a window that allows you to start a new Website from scratch, open a preexisting Website created with Visual Site Designer, or create a new Website from a theme. Choosing the theme option opens a window that allows you to browse the available themes. If you choose not to use a theme, you can cancel out of this window and create a new Website using the options under the File menu. To start a new Website, go to File and select New Website. This opens the New Website window, which allows you to enter information about your new Website. This includes the page title, which is the text displayed across the top of your user’s Internet browser, and the Page ID, which is the HTML filename of the page. You can also specify the page size by manually entering the dimensions or choosing a predefined size. You may also center your Website design. The next section allows you to choose a page background. Your options are a solid color, a picture, or a gradient fill. The final option allows you to set the color for visited and unvisited links on your Webpage.

I live in Central America, And I know of very good web designers and programmers who – I bet -, would charge much less than in the States. All we need is bridge between producers over here and clients over there. But want to be sure about the price ranges.
Ricardo,
There are ways for Central American web designer/developers to get jobs from US companies. This is the ongoing trend with Eastern European and Southeast Asian countries. The site I use for outsourcing these job is: www.elance.com
I have used them for logo designs, web developments, etc. You can have people sign up with them.
If I were you, this is what I would do. You can be their middleman for this. The way you can help them out and for you to make money is this. For elance account, I belive you need to pay them a subscription fee per year. You can set up your company, pay the fee, and have the web designers/developers work for your company.
This way, they are your independent contractors and both are happy making money.
As for the elance… I have only used them for minor things. I do not know how much money is to be made or how much work you will get out of it… That’s your job to find out and run the numbers/figures.
Good luck!

This is the last time we will see our template in Photoshop.
In this tutorial we will be slicing up the template so we can begin coding it and turn it into a webpage.

Of course there are several way you can obtain a capture page.
1) Pay someone to design it (Can get $$)
2) If your good with HTML and web editor you can create one yourself
and host it yourself (Can get Timely)
3) Use the generic corporate capture page that came with your opportunity
(if they have one) and very few allow you to personalize it
