What are the tools of the trade in Web Development?

I’m looking for some good programs that aid in web development. Can you give me the names of such programs? Thanks?

Any good text editor (Notepad Plus is good and free) or an IDE (Aptana Studio is free), a good web browser (Firefox with at least the Firebug add-on) and a local (installed on the development computer) web server.
